In 2018, Cidesco International launched the Cidesco Certificate program with the goal of being a preparation course that provides esthetic students with the necessary skills needed in the job industry. The new courses are comprised of theory and practical skills, and puts students one step closer to receiving their Cidesco International Diploma. The response to the new certificates has been rave reviews from both students and employers alike.

The new certificate programs being offered are:

  • The Cidesco Certificate in Skincare, which offers certification in facial treatments, electrical equipment, waxing, and make-up.

  • The Cidesco Certificate in Aesthetics, which has offers the same certifications as the certificate in skincare, but adds on an extra training in manicures and pedicures.

  • The Cidesco Certificate in Body Therapy, where students are trained to perform body analysis, pre-treatments, body electrical, and body massages.

Graduates who successfully pass both the Cidesco Aesthetics and Body Certificate program are automatically eligible to receive their Cidesco Beauty Therapy Diploma.

Audrey Paradza, from the Elite School of Beauty in Zimbabwe, was one of the first students to complete the Skincare Certificate. “It was amazing," says Paradza. "I learned so much in a very short space of time and I enjoyed each and every bit of it. I’m so excited, after all Cidesco is a prestigious qualification and I can’t wait to tackle the international sphere.”

This year, seven more schools are looking to incorporate the new Cidesco Certificate program. According to Cidesco, significant interest has come from the United States, India, and Ireland. For more about Cidesco diplomas and certificates, click here.
