Cosmoprof Asia Heads to Hong Kong this November

This November, beauty professionals in Asia will head to Hong Kong for the 23rd annual Cosmoprof Asia conference, collocated with the Cosmopack Asia World Expo. The leading b-to-b event for the Asian-Pacific cosmetics industry will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC), with Cosmopack Asia from November 13-15 and Cosmoprof Asia from November 14-16. 

Cosmoprof Asia will host companies and professionals that specialize in finished products of a number of sectors, including perfumes and cosmetics, beauty salons and spas, hair and nail accessories, and natural and organic beauty products. Cosmopack Asia showcases avant-garde products and solutions, focusing more on raw material and ingredients, machinery, packaging, manufacturing, private labels, and more.

The 2017 edition of Cosmoprof Asia saw a total of 2,877 exhibitors coming from 54 countries and regions, 25 international pavilions, and the attendance of 83,793 professionals, with over 60,000 of them from overseas. These figures testify to the continuous growth of the expo, which in 2017 occupied an exhibition space of 1,168,960 square feet in 2017.

Cosmoprof Asia will feature a number of educational programs, including CosmoForum, which will host the spa conference and natural and organic symposium, and Cosmoprof Onstage, which will provide attendees with previews of new makeup techniques, nail trends, and beauty treatments. On Hair, Cosmoprof Asia’s dedicated hair sector, will feature live demonstrations and shows at Cosmoprof Onstage as well. On Hair will also host the hong Kong Hair and Styling Arts Festival on November 14 and 15.

The collocated shows have curated a partnership with Beautystreams to host the Industry Recognized Awards, that will recognize the best company in each venue for their outstanding products. The events will also feature the 12th annual International Buyer Program, which promotes industry meetings between companies and international buyers. Buyers and distributors from specific international markets will be invited for meetings with exhibitors at both shows, creating a unique opportunity to develop brands in new markets.
