Esthetician Connection Chats with American Spa at IECSC New York

If you've attended any of the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, and Spa Conferences over the last few years, you've likely heard of Esthetician Connection. Esthetician Connection, or The EC as its referred to as by its members, is an esthetics and wellness professional community that began on Facebook. Since its inception in 2015, the EC has branched off of social media and into its own brand, including a new website and a large presence at industry trade shows. On day two of IECSC New York this year, Sheri Flasch, founder of Esthetician Connection, snuck away from the EC booth to interview American Spa's associate editor, Samantha Reed.

Click here to take a look at the Facebook Live video Flasch streamed in the EC Facebook group live from the show floor. Discover what new endeavors are next for American Spa, what goodies were offered at IECSC, and get to know Kathy Gruttadauria, show director of IECSC. If you can't see the video, it's because you have to join the Esthetician Connection Facebook group! The group is a "closed" group, meaning that Facebook users must answer questions and be approved before gaining access the group. Closed groups ensure all members of the group are vetted before joining—which in the case of the EC means ensuring members are licensed estheticians or other beauty and wellness professionals.

While you're at it, be sure to like American Spa on Facebook, join the American Spa - Women in Wellness Group on Facebook, and follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
