In a time when everyone’s futures seem uncertain, Hutchinson Consulting is lending a helping hand by launching a free weekly video web series called Coffee With the Coaches to provide industry professionals with the tools they need to manage their careers. Every Wednesday at 1 pm EST (10 am PST) on Zoom, firm partner Michael Tompkins and one of Hutchinson Consulting’s experienced recruiters will spend 30 minutes examining a particular topic, such as resumes, networking, or social media. Throughout the session, they will present pieces of advice and feedback to the participants. They will also record each event and share it on their website afterward.
“The Hutchinson Consulting team has hundreds of years of combined experience when it comes to our industry and its job market,” said Hutchinson Consulting partner Carol Stratford. “In this challenging time for hospitality and wellness, we all wanted to do what we can to put that experience to work to support our friends and colleagues. As this crisis abates and businesses come back, those who have gotten ahead of the game to make themselves attractive to employers will have a leg up on their competition.”
Their first session takes place today on Wednesday, April 8. Michael Tompkins and Hutchinson executive recruiter Jean Kolb will discuss the importance of mental well-being and building self-confidence.
