James Coyle Named CEO of RealSelf

James Coyle has been appointed RealSelf’s new CEO as the medical esthetics platform’s former CEO Tom Seery transitions into the role of executive chairman. Prior to serving as CEO, Coyle was the chief operating officer of RealSelf and helped facilitate business operations, recruit talent, accelerate traffic growth, and develop and execute several product and marketing programs. Additionally, he was involved in the launch of various initiatives to help physicians and consumers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including a COVID-19 resource center for patients; RealSelf Insider, a cosmetic treatment membership program; virtual consultations; and a payment forgiveness program for doctors. Coyle has also held executive positions at Varsity Tutors, Sears, and Amazon. "RealSelf is transforming the consumer experience in medical aesthetics, using technology to enhance transparency, increase trust and simplify decision-making,'' says Coyle. "I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the RealSelf team through its next phase of growth and expansion, as we explore ways to deepen our impact on consumers and providers in the medical aesthetics market."
