Spa and wellness industry icon Kerstin Florian, founder and CEO of Kerstin Florian International, has been named the 2020 ISPA Visionary Award Winner. The International Spa Association (ISPA) will present Florian with the award at the 30th annual ISPA Conference and Expo, taking place October 14-16 at The Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, MD.
The ISPA Visionary Award is presented each year to someone in the spa industry who has made significant contributions to both the definition and positive movement of health and wellness over the lifetime of their career. “Kerstin has set the standard for innovation and vision for the spa industry,” says Lynne McNees, president of ISPA. “This award is a testament to the dedication and passion she has displayed during her career, and we are honored to have her as a part of the ISPA community.”
Florian founded her brand in 1978, guided by the philosophy that outer beauty is a reflection of inner beauty. She built a lifestyle brand centered around four cornerstones of wellness: proper nutrition, regular exercise, peace of mind, and care of face and body. 42 years later, the brand is still family-run, now out of Southern California, and is dedicated to promoting the true intention of wellness within everyday life.
