A new luxury spa has popped up in the tranquil setting of Oregon’s eastern frontier. The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch (Seneca, OR) has announced the opening of the Rocking Heart Spa, a 17,000-square-foot facility that overlooks 10 miles of Silvies Valley’s high mountain meadows.
“Opening a spa is something you just don’t see every day on a real cattle and goat ranch—all the cows and does were quite surprised, but are looking forward to their treatments,” jokes Sandy Campbell, owner of Silvies Valley Ranch. “We try to provide each of our guests with an unforgettable experience that is uniquely Frontier Oregon—in fact, we only built 34 guest rooms so we could do just that.”
The spa features single and couples massage treatment rooms, a manicure and pedicure salon, steam saunas, Jacuzzi tubs, a half-Olympic length lap pool, fitness equipment, an indoor rock climbing wall, and a quiet room, complete with a relaxing stone fire place. For those seeking outdoor wellness, a number of unique ranch activities including snowshoeing, ice fishing, Clydesdale sleigh rides, cross country skiing, and Cool Golf are available to try.
Designed to reflect the ranch’s strong commitment to sustainability, the spa’s treatment menu utilizes organic spa products that incorporate plants native to the Oregon desert region. Menu options include a variety of aromatherapy treatments, massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures.
The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch offers guests accommodations at The Lodge, a 34-room eco-resort featuring Ranch House style rooms as well as private log cabins.
