Six Spas Prep to Pamper Pops this Father's Day

With the recent emergence of men's spa franchises, and trends showing men outspending women on med spa treatments, male-oriented spa treatments are becoming more and more commonplace in the spa and wellness industry. As such, spas are having no trouble developing new treatments for men just in time for Father's Day this year. Here, draw inspiration for your own spa's Father's Day celebrations with ideas from these six spas that are ready to pamper pops this June.

Hiatus Spa + Retreat (multiple locations) is offering four specials for dads this year. Popular among the franchise's male guests is The Front Runner (2 hours; $210), a double-header of the spa's two most popular services, The Sports Buff and The Well Groomed Man. First, guests are treated to a sports massage featuring a custom blend of essential oils and guided stretching and releasing, followed by a facial with exfoliants, a mask, aromatherapy steam, and a hand and foot massage. Lastly, clients are treated to a restorative scalp treatment, perfect for pampering dad from head-to-toe for his big day.

For the golfing dad, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is celebrating fathers this month with its Jasper Golf and Spa Package. Starting at $566, the package offers guests two nights accommodations, daily breakfast for two at the resort's Orso Trattoria, two rounds of gold at Canada's number one rated golf course (including golf cart, club storage, and range balls), and a $155 Fairmont Spa credit.

Hibiscus Spa at Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is inviting fathers to indulge this Father's Day with its Gentleman's Facial (60 minutes; $120). Ideal to relive irritation caused by shaving, exercising activities, and environmental irritants, the service includes an acupressure facial massage and purifying mask, followed by a deep shoulder and scalp massage to release tight muscles and tension.

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa (Gateway, CO) has introduced the Celebrate Dad package during the month of June. The package includes two night accommodations in a Casita, $300 activity credits per guest to be used on a 50-minute Red Cliff Remedy massage and a 50-minute Gentleman's Whiskey Scour at The Spa at Gateway Canyon, and a private dining experience for two at Entrada Restaurant or the Gateway Canyons Auto Museum. Other dad-approved activities available at the resort include guided hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and more.

The Spa at Whiteface Lodge (Lake Placid, NY) suggests picking a treatment off its Modern Man menu to gift dad for Father's Day. The Lumberjack Hand Soother (25 minutes; $45) offers guests a rich exfoliation with a hand and arm massage; a nail trim, file, and buff; and an arnica oil massage. For a longer, more in-depth treatment, the Outdoorsman Facial (50 minutes; $75) is specially designed to repair and protect skin that has been exposed to the elements. Designed for the outdoor enthusiast, the specialized treatment addresses the specific skincare needs of men using a unique blend of vitamins and antioxidants that are diffused into the upper layers of skin, resulting in a healthy, revitalized complexion.

Burke Williams Day Spa (multiple locations) is celebrating Father's Day all month long with a number of specials at its locations across California. At the franchise's Torrance location, guests can receive complimentary hot stones or aromatherapy on an 80 minute Pure Relaxation Massage, plus a $50 voucher to upgrade from a 50 minute to an 80 minute treatment on their next service. At the San Francisco location, guests can receive 20 percent off the service of their choice and can customize their massages by adding hot stones, aromatherapy, hot pack, Himalayan salt scrubs, and more. The full list of Burke Williams' June specials can be found on its website.
