Six Valentine's Day Spa Packages for Each Type of Guest

Over the years, spas have become synonymous with luxury. While many spas are taking the stance that wellness should be incorporated into our everyday lives, the fact of the matter is that many people save their trips to the spa for a special occasion, like Valentine’s Day. While Valentine’s Day is a hit or miss holiday for some people, that doesn’t mean your spa can’t market its Valentine’s Day packages to both singles and couples alike. For example, create a package that is ideal for a girl’s trip or Galentine’s Day, or a treat yourself day for the strong, independent people who don’t need a Valentine. What’s most important, though, is to make your packages stand out. Whether they are for couples or singles, spas across the country are offering promos for Valentine’s Day. What makes your spa different? Here, draw inspiration from a few romantic packages that take luxury and wellness to the next level, for both couples and singles alike.

The Confidante Miami Beach recently debuted its new rooftop spa, The Spa at the Confidante, and is celebrating the season of love with its new Taste the Love package (priced at $4,500 per couple). Offering foodies a three-night culinary escape, the package comes with a creative culinary welcome amenity, celebrity-chef-guided local farmers market tour, private cooking class, aphrodisiac turndowns, and more. The weekend features an Ocean Front suite with a wrap-around terrace, the perfect spot to enjoy a welcome champagne toast, red velvet cookies, and specialty truffles from a Miami-based chocolatier. At the spa, guests can enjoy a 20 percent savings on all couple’s massages, Glacce Customized Crystal Massage Journey (50 minutes; starting at $140) with emphasis on the Rose Quartz love option, and a complimentary glass of bubbly with every promo booked.

Apuane Spa at the Four Seasons Punta Mita (Mexico) is taking luxury to the next level with its new Apuane Nights package. The new experience offers couples the chance to unwind in a private, candlelit spa with the entire facility closed to other guests, creating the ultimate exclusive experience. The evening begins with a copal cleansing, a native incense which purifies and cleanse the aura. Then, couples choose between from a Hot Stone Puta Mita Massage or a Hakali Massage, which utilize various indigenous flora, sage, and tequila body lotion. Following their treatment, couples can enjoy all of the Spa’s hydrotherapy features, including jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, and ice fountain. The romantic experience ends with a delicious amenity of chocolate fondue with fruit and champagne.

Southern-Florida locals can enjoy a romantic, waterfront-sunset at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach after their choice of two couple's treatments at the Conrad Spa. Beginning at 4:30 and ending just in time for the sunset, guests can choose from the calm treatment, a massage using essential oils and Swedish techniques, and the Recover treatment, a restorative massage with deep tissue massage techniques using de-stress muscle gel and oil. After the treatment, guests can head to their waterfront view to toast with champagne, fruit and cheese. The package, which costs $399, is offered with the ability to opt for a daybed special at Fort Lauderdale's only 20,000-square-foot oceanfront Sky Deck, where guests can enjoy champagne, avocado smash, ice cream sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, and more (beginning at $125 for a half-day bed).

For the wine-lover in your life, Château Élan Spa at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort (Braselton, GA) created a package to up the resort’s already-romantic ante. The Valentine’s Day package, starting at $719 per night, includes overnight accommodations for two nights in an exclusive Spa Suite (which include access to the spa’s whirlpool, sauna, steam room, wellness classes, and afternoon tea); a single red rose presented at turndown on the night of your arrival; a four-course Valentine’s dinner for two at the resort’s eatery, Fleur de Lis, as well as breakfast each morning; and a romantic, 50-minute Essential Couple’s Massage.

For those who find themselves without a Valentine, AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club (San Diego, CA) recently debuted its Self-Love Spa Experience (100 minutes; $199) for the month of February. The experience includes a 50-minute Elevated Wellness Massage and a 50-minute Elevated Custom Facial, designed to leave guests feeling fresh, regenerated, and loved. Each treatment is customized for each guest, allowing the AquaVie spa therapist to choose the product line that best suits the client, including options from Beaute Noveau, Dermodality Skin Solutions, Eminence Organic Skin Care, and SkinCeuticals. Post treatment, guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne, unwind in the steam room or sauna or, if the sun is shining, relax by the rooftop pool.

Windflower – The Hill Country Spa at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort (San Antonio, TX) is offering guests a Massages and Mimosas Valentine’s Day special. Through the offer, guests who book a treatment between February 10-17 will receive 50 percent off a treatment for a second guest, as well as complimentary mimosas. Treatments can be done together for couples or separate for friends or family who want some alone time.  Before and after the treatment, guests of Windflower are encouraged to take advantage of the spa’s facilities, including a private pool, outdoor relaxation areas, an on-site sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and whirlpools.
