Spa Business Education, a part of the Raison d’Etre Group, has announced a new collaboration with the massage training experts at Massage Around the World. The partnership will assist both groups in meeting education and training requirements for the global spa industry.
The announcement comes as part of Spa Business Education’s mission to offer affiliated complementary online training courses to its students. The partnership is Spa Business Education’s second recent collaboration, as the training providers recently partnered with FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Austria as well.
The collaboration with Massage Around the World will bring together educational experts from the field to create a well-balanced approach to teaching spa therapists and managers. Spa Business Education’s online courses currently cover all areas of business management within the spa industry, including leadership, marketing, public and human relations, and finance.
Massage Around the World offers education opportunities that will compliment the Spa Business Education courses, including a complete range of massage techniques including Ayurvedic, Tibetan, and Thai, to more conventional methods like Swedish massage and physical therapy. Massage Around The World also arranges hands-on massage training courses per demand for massage schools, spas, and wellness centers across the globe designed according to the needs of each client.
“Many of our students are looking to acquire more knowledge on more advanced massage treatments offered by Massage Around The World,” says Nikos Kouremenos, education and project manager at Raison d’Etre. “Equally, we know that they have students who would like to train in management skills. We therefore see this as the perfect cooperation with an end result that provides the potential participant with a wide range of educational products to select from.”
Through the collaboration, the two educational outlets will provide their students with a number of new courses to gain an extensive understanding of specialist massage and managerial business skills, as well as provide a number of different career opportunities after graduation.
