If anyone understands the power of digital media and consumer influence, it’s Elizabeth Scherle, cofounder and president of Influenster, a digital destination where millions of consumers research and review products, and where brands can target and connect with highly engaged, empowered shoppers. At American Spa’s upcoming Women in Wellness Leadership Conference on March 12 at The Edison Ballroom in New York City, Scherle will share how you can get out of your comfort zone, discover your aha moment, and take calculated risks in a session titled, “Live Your Mission, Think Like an Innovator, and Win with Advocacy.” She’ll also reveal how to “sell” your business and yourself by making connections, communicating effectively, and going after what you really want. From finding the right partners to taking action when something isn’t working to embracing change, she’ll show you how to live your mission.
Recognizing the potential to connect people eager to share their feedback with companies interested in hearing directly from their public led Scherle to create Influenster, a community of more than five million members. In the past year, Scherle has worked to launch a number of exciting new offerings at the company to further enable brands to connect with the right people, at the right time, and with the right message. ReviewSource helps brands improve sales conversion by syndicating reviews written on Influenster to brand- and retail-dot-coms; Review Ads improve click-thru and interaction rates by populating responsive digital and social ad units with UGC; and Influenster Cash Back offers cash back rewards for purchasing products discovered via Influenster. These offerings help consumers to voice their opinions and concerns.
