Kate Mearns Joins Luxury Management and Consulting Firm LivUnltd

Global luxury management and consulting firm for concierge, fitness, spa, and wellness LIVunLtd has announced the addition of Kate Mearns as the brands new director of spa and wellness. In her new role, Mearns joins Maureen Fletcher Bankson, executive vice president of spa and wellness, to aid in growing the company’s spa consulting and management division.

“We are excited to welcome Kate to the LIVunLtd team,” says Fletcher Bankson. “Her years of experience as a spa director and consultant enhances our 360-degree solution for spa and wellness services. Her expertise will be instrumental at every stage of our projects, including feasibility, design consulting, brand development, pre-opening and ongoing management.”

Mearns brings with her to the firm more than 25 years within the spa industry, including operations, marketing, product development, and wellness programs. As principal of 5 Spa Consulting, she gained experience in the strategic development, integrative management, and operations of spa and wellness facilities.

Mearns other corporate experience includes being the executive spa director at the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg (VA) for WTS international management company, before progressing to corporate operations director of the spa division where she developed projects worldwide. She is also the former chairman of the International Spa Association (ISPA) and is currently on the board of the Washington Spa Alliance. Additionally, she serves as the U.S. Regional Director of the Global Wellness Summit Mentorship Program, where she develops a new generation of spa professionals.
