Inspired by ancient healing traditions, Emerald Spa at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa (Raa Atoll) recently opened, offering Balinese and Thai treatments in 10 bungalows. The spa features a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and a Turkish bath. A yoga pavilion is also available for guests to meditate and practice yoga with unfettered views of the ocean.
The property also has a Gym & Sports Center with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. Prioritizing sustainability, the spa relies on solar panels to power the spa’s hot water and uses paper straws and glass bottles to eliminate single-use plastics.
“With Emerald Spa, we wanted to create an oasis for guests who wish to escape the pressures and stress of modern-day life,” says spa manager Ni Made Rai Asri. “This peaceful wellness space provides a further escape for guests already staying on the island.”
