Four Seasons Dives Into Serenity in the Seychelles

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island has opened and offers a number of wellness offerings. Circle of Connection Spa, which features five treatment suites (including a couples suite) and a salon, includes a variety of healing experiences and a menu that is designed to evoke all five of the senses.

Complimentary daily Connection Ceremonies invite guests to bring each day full circle and begin and end each day by connecting with the world around them and within themselves. At 8:00 am, guests can participate in a morning awakening ceremony, featuring simple mantras and stretches to open the body and mind, and at 6:45 pm guests can partake in an evening reflection, a meditative journey from sound to silence that unwinds both the body and mind and offers reflection of the day.

Also available are yoga programs, including Hatha, Nidra, Meditation, Pranayama, and Ashtanga, with in-house yogi Ganga Sadhuka in a dedicated pavilion or on the beach. There is also a fully equipped fitness studio for weight and cardio training.

“Chances are that if you’ve gazed longingly at a stock image of a white sand beach fringed with palm trees looking out onto impossibly blue waters, that picture was taken in the Seychelles,” says general manager Edward Linsley. “And the dream only gets better when you get here, put your toes in the sand, breathe in the clean air, swim in the warm waters, trek through the jungle, and finally fall into a restful sleep beneath a canopy of stars. At Four Seasons, our entire mission is to create the perfect holiday for our guests to realize all of their island fantasies and ensure that they’ll remember their stay with us for a lifetime.”
