Hoshinoya Guguan Becomes Taiwan's Newest Go-To Hot Springs Destination

With access to the area’s coveted hot springs, Hoshinoya Guguan (Taiwan), a 50-room resort, recently opened outside of Taichung.

Designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, the Japanese-style hot spring spa features natural spring waters that flow through the property’s outdoor Water Garden, which has an outdoor glen for meditative walks, a tranquil outdoor bath area, and an enticing bamboo grove. Each guest room includes a hot spring floor with a private outdoor hot spring bath and breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from a private terrace. Guests can choose to receive services at the spa, which is located by the Water Garden, or experience other signature offerings throughout the property.

“We are delighted to open our first Hoshinoya Resort in Taiwan amid a serene setting,” says Yoshiharu Hoshino, CEO of Hoshino Resorts. “This is the ideal location for us to introduce Hoshino Resorts’ award-winning hospitality and intimate, elegant ryokan-style accommodations, complemented by an exceptional onsen experience, against the backdrop of vibrant nature and wildlife.”
