While the health and wellbeing benefits are usually enough to justify devoting time to nourishing pursuits, some spa-goers need an extra nudge, which is why Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui recently introduced its “Reason to…” program.
“The program has been inspired by the core foundation wheel of a healthy body and mind—a good night’s sleep, an active day, nourishment, and, of course, pampering,” says director of spa Stephanie Arveux.
Made up of four day-long experiences, the program includes the following:
- Reason to Nourish features a sequence of offerings designed to replenish lost reserves of health and energy. Guests will enjoy a rejuvenating body scrub, a healing wrap, and a scalp massage with warm coconut oil at The Secret Garden Spa along with a private session involving yoga and the art of juicing using fresh tropical ingredients and six mini meals throughout the day.
- Reason to Sleep begins with a session of flow yoga followed by a Lava Shell Massage, an hour of meditation before bedtime, a candle-lit bath, a relaxing targeted massage, and breakfast in bed the next morning.
- Reason to Pamper starts the day with breakfast in bed. Next comes a visit to the spa for a three-hour Earth to Sky Ritual, which involves a scrub, a massage, and more. Guests are also treated to herbal infusions and refreshing high tea at the open-air terrazzo of the spa.
- Reason to Play is intended to ignite a sense of possibility and adventure with guided exercise at the gym or beach, Muay Thai lessons, and a healthy lunch. The day concludes with a therapeutic magnesium massage.
“The setting, ambience, and experiences at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui naturally inspire holistic wellbeing,” says general manager Sean Mosher. “With the launch of these four new experiences, we hope to create an environment for positive harmony and give guests the much-needed reason to invest in their wellbeing.”
