Bond with Baby at Spa My Blend By Clarins

Babies get pampered at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris.

The bonding starts early at Spa My Blend By Clarins at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, which recently introduced the new Baby Spa Thalasso Therapy Bath ($328, 60 minutes), a comforting treatment that helps mothers connect with their babies by replicating the experience inside the womb. Created specifically for newborns to two-month-old babies and their mothers, the treatment begins with an onsite nurse placing the baby in a body temperature bath and then gently rocking the baby under a warm-water jet.

After the bath, the newborns and their mothers are treated to a relaxing massage together. “We decided to create this new treatment for the mother and her child in order to complete our offer for all women and their changes at different points of their lives,” says Valerie Dalmeyrac, director of spas at Star Wellness, operator of Spa My Blend by Clarins. “We already had special treatments for women before and after birth, so we wanted to complete it with an offer integrating their babies.”
