California has made it easy to indulge in a little self-care thanks to a host of new wellness offerings. Whether visiting or a local, check out these new offers from various spas and resorts  on the Golden Coast and take a day for yourself to try out one of the various offerings below.

The Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa (San Diego, CA) is partnering with Lifewellness Institute to create a custom retreat called the Wellness Collective. The retreat will focus on generating positive gene expression featuring spa treatments, activities, and food and workshops that focus on the main factors of epigenetics. This will include concepts such as movement and fitness, attitude and perspective, nutrition and reducing toxicity, sleep and respite, as well as relationships and connection. Guests will have the option to choose what areas of epigenetics they wish to focus on or they can incorporate it all.

Unsurprisingly, CBD continues to grow in popularity in California and beyond. At the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa (CA), guests can visit The Spa at Estancia and try its new series of CBD-infused treatments. Options range from the Arthritis Manicure with CBD (50 minutes, $80), which includes a full manicure and ends with a soothing massage, or the Sleep Well CBD Lavender Wrap (50 minutes, $195) where guests are wrapped in lavender body oil infused with CBD, and then given a peppermint oil scalp massage and foot massage using a sole-soothing foot balm. Guests can even enhance their CBD Wrap experience with a CBD Salt Soak foot bath. Lastly, guests can enjoy the Skin Repair CBD Facial (50 minutes, $185), a facial designed to combat common skin concerns, such as acne, excess oil, and dehydration, during which CBD is infused into the treatment’s products to create a calming effect.

The Pasea Hotel & Spa (Huntington Beach, CA) is taking self-care to another level with its Mineral Remedy Massage (50 minutes, $179) at the Aarna Spa. Guests can relax with a massage that combines the soothing effects of CBD oil, while replenishing deficient mineral levels. Along with this, the spa will soon be providing oncology treatments the use Balinese rituals infused with CBD. These new offers include the Rendam Dalam (30 minutes, $75), a fresh flower hand and foot soak ending with a massage, Banyak Berkat (50 minutes, $129), a plant-based facial, and finally, the Restorasi (50 minutes) which features a mind inhalation ritual followed by a massage.

The Meritage Resort and Spa (Napa Valley, CA) is also offering a CBD wellness experience for guests. At the Spa Terra, guests can enjoy the CBD Wellness Massage (50 minutes, $195) which combines traditional Swedish massage techniques with the soothing, calming effects of CBD.

Finally, the Apres Sleep cart at the Edgewood Tahoe (Stateline, NV) is the perfect kind of wake-up call. Enjoy a complimentary cart of wellness offerings, featuring a variety of healthy, healing options. Guests can visit the lobby where the Apres Sleep cart is located to enjoy freshly brewed Naturopathica tea of-the-day infused with healing tinctures; an aromatic rose geranium soothing mist and lavender honey balancing mist to awaken the senses; a pitcher of fresh green juice with chlorophyll and coconut water; homemade granola with to-go bags; mini chili chocolates made by the pastry chef; fresh fruit; and stretch and yoga cards with tips.

With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a perfect time take advantage of all these offerings and indulge in a little self-care.
