For spa-goers who want to experience ultimate relaxation, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills recently introduced The Surrender Massage ($210, 50 minutes; $280, 80 minutes), which was created as part of a unique collaboration among six of the spa’s top massage therapists and spa consultant Jean-Guy de Gabriac.

The signature massage incorporates the team’s advanced, original, and secret manual techniques. Designed to release deep tensions, the treatment begins with long Swedish massage strokes using crystal-infused oils from ISUN and then adds in stretching followed by energy healing around acupressure points along the Chinese meridians. The massage can also be customized to include deep tissue massage, and guests can also choose from one of two crystal-infused oils, each with beneficial properties.

“All too often, treatment protocols are dictated by product brands remotely, but this signature massage was birthed out of the expertise of our senior-level massage therapists, with the guidance of Jean-Guy de Gabriac,” says Michael Newcombe, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and head of the Global Spa and Wellness Task Force Team for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The result is pure bliss.
