Healthy How-To: Morning Super C Juice

Pairing a citrus-based treatment with a refreshing citrus-filled drink is a great way to enhance a clients’ experience. At Woodlands Spa at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (Farmington, PA), for example, clients can enjoy the benefits of citrus with a selection of citrus-based treatments, like the Citrus Infusion (starting at $240, 80 minutes) body treatment and Citrus Essence Facial (starting at $160, 50 minutes), before heading to the Holistic Healing Center for a glass of the Morning Super C.

This fresh-pressed juice contains pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and mint. “Citrus has many benefits for our skin and our digestive health,” says spa director Katlyn Hatcher. Consider whipping up this refreshing drink to brighten your clients’ day:

Morning Super C 

  • 3-ounce elixir: After peeling and slicing the fruit, combine approximately ½ cup of pineapple, 1 grapefruit, 1 orange, and 1 mint leaf in a cold-pressed juicer to separate the pulp.
     
  • 12-ounce juice: After peeling and slicing the fruit, combine approximately ¾ cup pineapple, 3 grapefruits, 3 oranges, and 1 mint leaf in a cold-pressed juicer to separate the pulp.
