Shel Pink literally wrote the book on self-care. 10 years after launching SpaRitual, a sustainable, vegan beauty brand based on the rituals of self-care, in 2004, the female entrepreneur wrote Slow Beauty: Rituals and Recipes to Nourish the Body and Feed the Soul and shared with the world her philosophy on slow beauty, which is all about creating moments within each day, week, month, season, and year to practice the kind of meaningful self-care and wellness that makes us glow.

Inspired by clean beauty, spa culture, and of course the art of self-care, the brand has expanded greatly since its launch to incorporate bodycare, nailcare, and more for both consumer and spa professionals. But the brand has expanded beyond products; as Pink mentions in her book, SpaRitual promotes Slow Beauty as a way of life. An example of this is the brand's new Sound of Color smartphone app for meditation during manicures and pedicures.

Here, discover how SpaRitual is changing the wellness landscape with its Scent Stories, all-in-one nailcare products, award-winning bodycare, and more, in this exclusive interview with Annie McCullough, vice president of sales at SpaRitual, live from Spatec by American Spa.
