Go Behind the Brand with Jurlique

Jurlique began more than 30 years ago in the natural hills of Southern Australia, and since then, the brand has found the answers to its formulations in nature. Two passionate believers in the healing power of nature—Jürgen Klein, P.hD and biochemist, and his wife Ulrike, a botanist—had a vision to create a pure and natural skincare line that combined the ancient arts of alchemy, herbal medicine, and homeopathy to reconnect people with nature. Thus, Jurlique was born.

"Our dream was to connect people back to nature,” says Jurlique cofounder Ulrike Klein. “That connection—that's the really important thing for us as human beings." Utilizing a fusion of nature and alchemy, Jurlique began crafting products and treatments with purity, potency, and integrity. From earth to extraction, the Jurlique process is holistic, honest, and pure. The brand follows strict organic and biodynamic farming principles, meaning the ingredients grown are free from sunthetic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides. Once grown, the ingredients are picked and sorted by hand through Jurlique's Bio-Intrinsic process. The three-stage process draws out potent elements from the plants, isolates them, intensifies them, and reformulates them. The process ensures no plan material is wasted and the extracts obtained are combined to form a new, highly potent extract.

Today, Jurlique products are sold in more than 20 countries around the world, and the brand's most iconic natural ingredients are still grown in the Adelaide Hills where Jurlique first began. Learn more about Jurlique and go behind the brand with the unique video below.
