Academy-award winning actress, author, producer, and activist Jane Fonda was recently appointed the latest brand ambassador for the CBD and hemp brand Uncle Bud’s. The partnership, slated throughout 2020, will consist of marketing and advertising campaigns. To announce the partnership Fonda took to her personal social media accounts, sharing the news via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Through a video, she showcased three of the products the brand released including Hemp Hand Sanitizer, CBD Lip Balm, and the Hemp Body Lotion.
Fonda has always had an interest in wellness and is excited to represent the brand. “I'm excited to partner with Uncle Bud's," said Fonda. "Wellness has always been incredibly important to me and these hemp-based products recently caught my attention. They're eco-friendly, cruelty-free and, most importantly, effective!"
When deciding who to choose as the newest ambassador the brand thought Fonda was an easy choice, finding that her values align closes with that of the brands. “It was really simple for us to decide that Jane Fonda would be the next ambassador for Uncle Bud's," said Garrett Greller, cofounder of Uncle Bud's. "Her activism and values align with the company and there is no question that she is an icon of health and wellness, both past and present. It was truly a no brainer and we can't wait to share what's in store."
To further celebrate the partnership, Uncle Bud’s plans to donate 1,000 units of their Hemp Hand Sanitizer to Safe Place for Youth, a non-profit organization that aims to provide care and support for homeless youth, on behalf of Fonda. For each repost and tag gained over the 48 hours from Fonda’s social media post, the brand will donate an additional hand sanitizer.
