Canyon Ranch (multiple locations) has announced the appointment of four new executives to the wellness brand’s growing leadership team—Kerry Kennedy, vice president of digital and innovation; Doris Lopez, vice president of health and healing; Lisa Fisher, director of sales, marketing and telecommunications, Tucson; and Dan Hardy, executive chef, Lenox.
Kennedy, who has experience leading digital efforts of brands such as Southwest Airlines, Omni Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, and Hilton Hotels, will lead Canyon Ranch’s digital efforts and strategies, working closely with the sales, marketing and communications teams.
Lopez, a 20-year veteran of the healthcare industry, will serve as Canyon Ranch’s first-ever VP of health and healing, where she will help develop and execute health and healing strategies, oversee the development of new programming, execute business development opportunities, and help as the brand continues to incorporate technology into clinical experiences.
Fisher, who recently served as director of sales for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, will lead the Tucson sales, marketing and communications team implementing locally focused and in market strategies. A California-native, Fischer is a graduate of California State University, Chico.
Hardy joined the Canyon Ranch team in 2013 as a demonstration chef, and now has more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. In his new role, Hardy will oversee all culinary operations at the brand’s Lenox property. Prior to his latest position at Canyon Ranch, Hardy served as executive chef for Clark’s Café 7, where he received the 2015 “Best Chef of the Year” award from Starr Catering Group. His cuisine at Clark’s Café 7 was also recognized by Zagat, naming it as one of the “Eight Reasons to Drive to the Berkshires.”
