Celebrate National Margarita Day at St. Somewhere Spa

The history of the margarita is somewhat unknown. A quick search on the Internet shows a number of different origin theories from 1937 to 1948, but, history is in the making this year with South Florida’s National Margarita Day celebration at the St. Somewhere Spa (Hollywood Beach, FL). Though most of the time spas tend to encourage guests to detox from alcohol to rid them of toxins, the St. Somewhere Spa is honoring its property’s namesake by celebrating the unique holiday on Feb. 22.

Located at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, St. Somewhere Spa is offering its popular Lost Shaker of Salt treatment for $99 on National Margarita Day. The treatment, regularly priced at $140, is a 50-minute salt scrub that invites spa-goers to quench their skin and taste buds as they sip on a complimentary margarita during the exfoliating treatment. The spa’s signature salt scrub casts away dry skin as well as increases circulation, leaving skin smooth and revitalized.

Inspired by the spa’s South Florida surroundings, the St. Somewhere Spa offers guests a secluded oceanfront retreat spanning 11,000 square feet. The spa features eleven treatment rooms (including two specifically designed for couples), along with steam rooms, a scrub room, and rainfall showers. Gender specific locker rooms and lounges are complemented by a co-ed wet lounge, featuring a hot tub and relaxation benches.

In addition to the discounted spa treatment, Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort guests can celebrate the holiday with margarita making demonstrations and special food and beverage promotions.
