G2O Spa + Salon Gives Back with Female Entrepreneurship Grant Program

G2O Spa + Salon (Boston, MA) has launched its new G2O Female Entrepreneurship Grant Program. The program is open to all females who are driven to pursue or enhance their career as a business owner in any industry. This applies to both those who are looking to bring a project to life, or who are hoping to enhance or further their current business.

The winner will receive a base grant of $3,000 and one year of mentorship from program founder and G2O Spa + Salon CEO, Joyce Hampers. Through that, they will have the opportunity to grow their business skills and meet other industry executives. The company decided to establish the program in celebration of its 25th anniversary, as it aims to both support and advance female entrepreneur’s efforts in achieving their business goals.

“As a female business owner, I understand the challenges and roadblocks many women face on their path to running a successful business,” says Hampers. “I’ve experienced many of these same hurdles throughout my career, and now as we mark 25 years of business for a venture so dear to me, that was once just an idea, I knew there was no better time to honor and support this next generation of inspiring women.”

The application requires three references, the name of the business or proposed project, a description of the business or project, and a description of what you would do with the money if won. It also asks for social media handles, as well as a resume. Applications can be submitted through the spa and salon’s website until Sept. 30. The winner, which will be decided by Hampers, will be announced in late November.
