Cosmedix, the professional skincare brand created for estheticians by estheticians, is celebrating the industry it loves with its third annual National Aesthetician Month, coming this October to a spa near you. Though the whole month will celebrate the professionals within the skincare industry, the brand has also dubbed October 15 National Aesthetician Day, which coincides with the kick of date of the Face & Body Show, located in Cosmedix’s home town of Atlanta, GA.
Developed to celebrate the essential role all estheticians play in their client’s journey towards healthy skin, the brand also hopes the campaign will spark conversation outside of the skincare community about the importance of visiting an esthetician to tackle ongoing skincare issues, correct previous damage, build an at-home regimen, receive a spa treatment, and more.
As the sponsor of National Aesthetician Day and National Aesthetician Month, Cosmedix plans to create programs and platforms to drive awareness and engagement for the skincare professional, including developing plans to further educate consumers, media, and other industry professionals on the importance of using professional skincare products and visiting a licensed skincare professional.
To celebrate National Aesthetician Day this year, Cosmedix is also launching a new product that will mark the brand’s entrance into a new skincare category. In honor of the other initiative that is also celebrated in October—breast cancer awareness—a portion of this new product will be donated to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer nonprofit organization. Be on the look out for the product’s launch in mid-September.
