Hello Kitty Returns to OPI for the Holidays

To celebrate Hello Kitty’s 45th anniversary, The Hello Kitty Collection by OPI returns after its 2016 success. Hello Kitty is a pop culture icon born from the Japanese “omotenashi” tradition of gift-giving. With this in mind, OPI will debut the 12 new shades and three festive glitters in the Hello Kitty Holiday Collection just in time for the gift-giving season.

“We were blown away by the response from the first Hello Kitty Collection, and the demand hasn’t stopped three years later,” says OPI cofounder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “With the Hello Kitty by OPI Collection, we bring together two global icons that embrace having fun, being chic, and loving color.”

In the wide range of shades, each color is playfully named. Warm pinks and frosty hues are included in Let’s Be Friends, Glitter to My Heart, A Hush of Blush, and Let’s Celebrate. For richer reds, golds, and shimmering pewter, try All About the Bows, A Kiss on the Chic, Many Celebrations to Go, and Isn’t She Iconic. Icy blues and deep velvet tones are found in Pile on the Sprinkles, Hello Pretty, Let Love Sparkle, and My Favorite Gal Pal. Three festive glitters are also available in Glitter All the Way, Born to Sparkle, and Dream in Glitter.

All 15 Hello Kitty Collection shades will be available in OPI’s formulas including Nail Lacquer ($10.50), long-wear Infinite Shine ($13) and GelColor in-salon. The products will be offered at Dillard’s, Ulta, Amazon Beauty, Hudson’s Bay, Regis, Chatters, Beauty Brands, Sally Beauty, and select Sanrio stores.

OPI’s signature new Hello Kitty shades are the perfect solution to keep your gift-giving bright and cheery.
