The consumer group Which? recently conducted its annual research study regarding cruise line popularity, which focuses on 20 cruise companies and its passengers. Over 2,500 passengers were surveyed and asked to rate their experiences out of five across 11 categories. Th results concluded that Viking Ocean Cruise received an overall satisfaction rate of 88 percent, as well as gaining five stars in most of the categories, including the popularity of the brand's on-board spa, LivNordic.
“Viking Ocean Cruises offer guests an unparalleled traveling experience, so we are delighted to be able to reflect this with our onboard LivNordic spas,” says Anna-Cari Gund, managing director for Raison d’Etre, parent company of LivNordic Spas. “We are extremely proud to have risen to the challenge of creating a truly unique onboard spa experience and to see a positive response from guests.”
The spas onboard were created with inspiration from the brand’s four principles:
- A deep, abiding love for nature.
- Cultivating authentic relationships with others, our environment, and ourselves.
- Connecting to the inner stillness at the heart of Nordic wellness.
- Enjoying the natural simplicity found in all things Scandinavian.
Viking prides itself on having cruise ships that are equipped with LivNordic spas, libraries, and high-class restaurants. The LivNordic spas were designed by a team of global wellness experts from Raison d’Etre. The five-star rated LivNordic spas are all free for Viking Ocean Cruise guests to use. The spas aim to provide an authentic Scandinavian experience, which contributes to the whole Nordic theme that the cruise company aims to produce. With these values in mind, the company has been able to achieve the honor of being rated number one. For more information, visit the Viking Cruises and Raison d'Etre websites.
