Clean beauty cosmetic and skincare brand Pür is celebrating its sweet 16 this year. 2018 marks Pür’s 16th year in the beauty industry, and to celebrate the “complexion authority” has launched a limited-edition makeup collection that features ten unique beauty sets.
"Our 'Sweet 16' collection is a way of saying thank you to our fans that have loved and supported the brand throughout this journey," says Tisha Thompson, vice president of marketing and innovation at PÜR. "Since the brands inception, we've stuck to our guiding principal that beauty lovers shouldn't have to choose between products that work and products that are clean and this collection represents just that."
The new collection represents the company’s identity as a leader in clean beauty, featuring highly pigmented color products to gentle skincare and cruelty-free application tools. In addition to celebrating 16 years in the industry, Pür recently celebrated another milestone by selling more than 10 million compacts of its best-selling 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation. In honor of the milestone, Pür released a limited-edition rhinestone-covered component called Bling to adorn the foundation compacts.
In addition to Bling, the Sweet 16 collection includes a five-piece limited-edition cruelty-free skin perfecting brush set (Party Essentials Brush Set, $39); a gold confetti soothing sheet mask (Mask-Querade, $36); a party prep collection featuring a peel mask, primer, and more (Get This Party Started, $39); a collector’s set (Celebrate Your Selfie, $49); a face palette (Love Your Selfie III, $36); a travel eyeshadow palette and shadow brush (Let the Good Times Roll, $15); a lipstick trio and lip balm set (Kiss of Confidence, $28); a travel highlighter palette and fan brush (Sparkle and Shine Bright, $15), and a mascara, liner, and lash set (Life of the Party, $26).
"As we look ahead at the next sixteen years, we will continue marching to the beat of our own drum with an expanding product line that's pure and simple," says Thompson. The new collection will be rolled out gradually over the next few months, with launch dates spanning from July 12 through November 18. The limited-edition products will be available on purcosmetics.com, as well as in-store and online at Ulta and Kohls.
