Remembering Knutek Skincare Founder Jim Larsson

Industry innovator and skincare professional Jim Larsson, founder and CEO of Knutek Skincare, passed away at the age of 65 recently. Larsson founded Gloria Munde International, a cosmetic and image design company in 1983, before selling it and founding Knutek Skincare in 1998.

A business owner and entrepreneur for over 40 years, Larsson was born in Sweden and grew up in Norway. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business in Norway where he graduated at the top of his class and was granted scholarships to earn his MBA at Arizona State University. An author, Larsson wrote The Human Pathway: Find the Truth (Morris Publishing, 2010), a guide to cosmic and spiritual enlightenment that focuses on the fundamental questions of existence, like why are we here, where do we go, and how do we get there.

Since its inception in 1998, Knutek has provided cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, and equipment for treating the skin to salons and spas across the world. The brand also provides educational opportunities as well as support to locations that carry the line. Knutek is most well-known for its patented oxygen plasma ingredient, known to treat acne and rosacea, as well as its Dermacycling non-surgical facelift procedure.

“Jim’s legacy will live on through his company, Knutek, his passion and his dream,” says Liane Anderson, regional sales manager, Knutek Skincare. “He was a man larger than life, a mentor who always saw the good in others.”
