Inspired by the Vietnamese zodiac elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, The Anam Spa at The Anam (Cam Ranh, Vietnam) recently launched Vietnamese Zodiac Spa Journeys ($129, varying times), which are restorative spa experiences tailored to guests’ birth years, zodiac signs, and elements.
For example, those born in 1953 and 2013 share the snake zodiac sign and the water zodiac element. Because snake signs typically thrive in a peaceful environment, the Snake Water spa treatment works to alleviate stress with a relaxing back massage and a nourishing facial using Sothys Paris products. The service concludes with a cup of artichoke tea.
“It’s all in the stars and in the elements at our spa, as we begin the year of the rat with a focus on our spa guests’ birth years,” says resort founder Pham Van Hien. “This is how to really turn up the heat on an individual spa journey.”
