Celebrate National Wellness Month With Programs to Combat Burnout

For National Wellness Month, five hotels and resorts are helping combat burnout with a variety of programs.

Paséa Hotel & Spa (Huntington Beach, CA): To help combat the effects of burnout, guests can book the “Burnout Break” package which includes: a ocean view guest room, welcome amenities including a Pasea beach towel and SunBum sunscreen, complimentary cocktails, a Hot Sea Stone 50-minute massage from Aarna Spa, and more. Also $20 from every reservation booked in August will be donated to Mental Health America and those who book can get a free one month subscription from Caravan Wellness meditation app.

Sensei Lānaʻi, A Four Seasons Resort (Lanai City, HI):  The new Sensei Sabbatical program allows guests who stay for 30 days or more access to exclusive benefits at the Retreat. The program includes access to a complimentary collection of daily wellness activities, private weekly session of choice (yoga, fitness, meditation, mindfulness, or nutrition), weekly check-ins with a dedicated Sensei Guide and conclude with a one-on-one consultation with a Sensei Guide to review learnings from the stay and develop a plan of action for returning home.

The James New York (NY): The  Four Bodies Wellness Program aims to balance the four points of wellness - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - for total wellbeing. The exclusive in-room programming is available to all guests staying at The James and can be accessed via the main menu on guest room televisions. Guests can visit their in-room TVs to take part in an Aerospace work-out, experience Kundalini Yoga to cure jet lag and clear stress, access a complimentary one-month membership to the INSCAPE app and learn more about booking a one-to-one session with various intuitive counselors.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort (St. Lucia): The resort welcomes wellness-weary travelers with three new packages focusing on detox, immunity, and weight loss. Fit for travelers of all kinds, the three packages have one-, three- and five-day options, which will include initial consultation, personalized wellness classes such as yoga and meditation, personalized spa treatments, cupping therapy, steam room access, earthing/grounding sessions in the resort’s on-property garden, nature healing and therapeutic gardening, stargazing, and more. The experiences also include a wellness menu featuring six juicing options for one and three days, as well as vegan, raw and low-carb dietary programming.

Arenas del Mar (Costa Rica): Arenas del Mar offers guests several wellness treatments and experiences at the Las Brisas Wellness Center. Burnout packages include detox, vitalize, and calm, and feature locally sourced and exotic ingredients unique to the country. Guests can relax with Costa Rican red-fruits and coffee and cacao scrubs; algae and clay wraps; and aloe-vera based energy cold infusions. The resort highly encourages no cell phones to ensure true detoxification.
