Global Wellness Summit Podcast Launches New Season

Launched in October 2019, the Global Wellness Summit (GWS)’s podcast series experienced a 650 percent increase in downloads in the first month of COVID-19 shutdowns and saw its international listenership grow from 31 to 51 countries. The series—produced by S’Well Public Relations and Crate Media and sponsored by Carillon Miami Wellness Resort—is hosted by wellness industry leader Kim Marshall and showcases honest conversations with business leaders and thinkers from the wellness market. Luckily for its rapidly augmented audience, the podcast recently kicked off a new seven-episode season with an interview of Sarah Smith, content director of health resource Prevention magazine. The subsequent episodes will feature Richard Carmona, M.D., a former U.S. surgeon general; Jennifer Walsh, an outdoor enthusiast and the founder of Walks with Walsh media; Martha Collard, a former marine biologist and internationally renowned gong master; Roberto Arjona, the general manager of destination spa Rancho La Puerta; James Chenevey, the CEO of spa equipment company Earthlite and Living Earth Crafts; and Randi Mae Stafford Liebold, a Toronto-based wellness counselor mental wellness expert for Black communities. All episodes will be available on all popular podcast platforms.
