Northwell Health, New York state’s largest health care provider and private employer, has joined forces with Canyon Ranch, the premier integrative wellness brand, to expand its existing health and wellness initiatives. The organizations share a common goal of enhancing the lives and wellbeing of their respective clients, and plan for this partnership to expand their reach of wellness, ensuring opportunities for individuals to live younger longer.
First the partnership plans to create a cooperative culture for health and wellness across the New York metropolitan area, starting with resiliency training for Northwell clinicians designed by Canyon Ranch Wellness Architects, the company's team of experts, focused on various self-care topics such as wellness, prevention, and lifestyle behavior changes.

In recent years, Northwell has implemented several employee-based health and wellness initiatives involving tens of thousands of employees and focusing on topics such as healthier food and walking challenges. Additionally, the company implemented the myWellness program which provides wellness programs, tips for stress management, sleep, and nutrition, team-based challenges and an activity tracker. Northwell’s new strategic alliance aims to build their existing employee wellness strategy by providing access to resources focused on wellbeing, prevention, educational and lifestyle behavior change expertise from Canyon Ranch.
